Challenge

Make a bear characteristic of the bay area.

Solution

This is the latest project I’ve done, it’s actually not the final version because I have to wait for their feedback. But, I’d say the biggest challenge was to come up with an original black bear roaring. There are many bears out there in company logos, most of them look especially different from each other, so I had to do come up with different bear traits and angles until I finally came up with this. The company bases in Berkeley so they wanted an appealing typeface and use the colors, blue and yellow.
